August 2022
Dear Parents/Guardians,
St. Martin de Porres Marianist School will continue to offer students a daily dining experience with CulinArt Group for the 2022-2023 school year, beginning on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Students, faculty, and staff can look forward to the following enhancements:
Meal Plan for Grades PreK – 8:
Each day, CulinArt will offer a freshly prepared lunch that includes an entree with 2 side dishes, choice of beverage, and dessert of the day. Alternative lunch options, including buttery pasta, turkey sandwiches, bagels, and fresh garden salads, will be available as well. Note that CulinArt will deliver meals to PreK and Kindergarten classrooms. Grades 1 – 8 will dine in the cafeteria. The Hot Lunch Meal Plan cost will be $1,190 for the full school year. If you wish to join the Hot Lunch Meal Plan, the fee will be added to your tuition. This lunch program will only be available to students who opt-in and have completed the Hot Lunch Meal Plan Enrollment Form. Cash will not be accepted for the hot lunch program.
Below is the enrollment form for the Hot Lunch Meal Plan. If you would like to enroll your child in the Hot Lunch Meal Plan, please complete the form and return it to the Main Office by August 29, 2022.
The Market:
CulinArt has enhanced the retail program to include a variety of fresh salads, sandwiches, snack packs, fruit cups, yogurt parfaits, packaged bars, treats, and bottled beverages. The Market will accept declining balance dollars (through MyKidsSpending.com), cash, or credit card.
MyKidsSpending for the Declining Balance Program:
We are continuing with our dining services technology partner at St. Martin’s, ODIN Inc., who will facilitate the Declining Balance enrollment through their website MyKidsSpending.com. You will receive an email with temporary login credentials to set up your account in August. It is important to note that each student will be issued a Dining Service ID Number. With that, you can deposit funds into your student’s Declining Balance account for use at The Market. The convenient declining balance program used at The Market alleviates the burden of students having to carry cash and helps speed up the check-out process. The minimum deposit will be $50. Participating families can review their account balances online at any time and will receive an email notification when the account has a low balance. At the end of the year, declining balance dollars will be rolled over to the next school year, but exiting students are required to use all funds in their account. CulinArt will not issue refunds to exiting students. It is the responsibility of the parents/guardian/account holder to keep the child’s account in the positive throughout the school year. Please note that a negative balance cap will be implemented for any child’s account that reaches – $10.00. This would result in a denial of card use until the balance is brought into the positive.
We thank you very much and look forward to another healthy, exciting, and tasty school year!
Sincerely,
Mr. Robert York & Mrs. Erin Citrano
