For tonight’s Open House we would like to remind parents that Meet the Teacher begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Commons. Parents will be dismissed to their children’s classrooms from there. There will be 2 sessions for parents that have more than one child in grades 1-8. It is requested that tonight is an informational meeting for parents only.
Also, please send in the email form below if it has not been sent in already. We are hoping to reduce some paper messages and this would really help us to make sure that you are always informed.
Today, each St. Martin’s family (with the oldest child) will receive this book, Celebrating Sunday for Catholic Families 2017-2018. It’s focus is to bring discussion of the weekly Gospel within the family. Parents are a child’s first and most important connection to Jesus and our common faith, but it can be difficult to make a connection between the Gospel and daily life with children and young adults. This book can help you bring the weekly Gospel into a conversation with your children. We encourage you to use this book weekly before and after attending mass and throughout the week to deepen and strengthen your faith as a family.
You can view the Homeroom Lists for 2017 — 2018 on the Parent Page.
We are looking forward to meeting everyone on Wednesday, September 6th.
We will begin in the schoolyard outside the Sacred Heart Commons at 8:10 A.M.
Enjoy your holiday weekend.
May the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit be glorified in all places through the Immaculate Virgin Mary.
**Please also note that our school day will begin earlier. Students will be marked late after 8:15. Reminders about this and also drop off and pick up parking procedures were sent home with Mr. Holian’s August letter found here.**
Start marking those calendars! The 2017-2018 St. Martin’s calendar is ready! The paper calendar will be mailed out with the usual August information, but we wanted to share with our families as soon as we had it! It looks like it will be another exciting year for our St. Martin’s family!
