There have been several events held at St. Martin’s over the last month! Most of our pictures can be found at our Shutterfly share site, but there are few below to get you started! Be on the look out for the pictures from the Ladies’ Tea and Fashion show being held this Saturday at Kellenberg Memorial High School. It is always an event to remember!
The new events posted are :
– The Epiphany Prayer service: We were reminded by Bro. Tim of the Holy Family’s humble life.
- The Geography Bee was another great success! Our students were quizzed on their knowledge of state capitals and national and international landforms. Congratulations to the winner Isaiah Torres, and the runner up, Ariana Cserenyi!
- And last, but not least, the Winter Dance: The Winter Dance is always a fun event for our middle school students. It really is a chance for them to dress their best and get to have a great time with their friends. It is always great to see a few students break out of their shells and see those hidden dance talents!
- Though Mother Nature had other plans for our Open House, we have continued to show new families all that our school has to offer. We encourage you to share your experiences of St. Martin’s with your friends and family and have them give us a call to arrange a tour with Mr. Holian. We are now registering children for September! As always, be sure to follow us on Facebook to see some of the daily happenings of our school!
The Holy Family Center
The Holy Family Center is a faith and community information center located on the first floor across from the second grade classrooms. One of the new additions to this stand of informational supplies is a weekly Gospel booklet aimed at young students. We encourage you to take one each week and bring it with you to Sunday mass. It is a great way to bring the message of the weekly Gospel back home for family discussion and applying it to our young students’ lives. Be on the lookout for information on how you can make Lent a family experience! Lent begins next Wednesday – Ash Wednesday!
Due to the icy roads and poor travel conditions this morning we will be closed today!
Snuggle up and read a good book!
Due to the blizzard coming to Long Island, our Open House which was scheduled for tomorrow is canceled.
All those who are interested in visiting our school are welcomed to call Mr. Holian to arrange a tour with him.
We are already registering children for the academic year 2016 — 2017.
We pray that all remain safe during the storm.
May the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit be glorified in all places through the Immaculate Virgin Mary.
