We have a new puppy that we are fostering for North Shore Animal League. MEET SMOKEY! If you are interested in possibly adopting him, come visit him in the Main Office. He’s a cutie!
The SMART program begins tomorrow. From 3:30 until 4:00, all 1st-5th grade classes will remain in their classrooms (unless they are not staying for the after-school program). At 4:00, these grades will be dismissed to the Sacred Heart Commons for play time outside. Parents should pick up children from the play area and then sign the student out in the Sacred Heart Commons.
Pre-K and Kindergarten students remain in their classrooms or on the side playground area and are signed out in their classrooms.
All junior high students will be in the Art Studio or St. Rose of Lima Courtyard (side of the building) and will sign themselves out. The middle school students are then dismissed to the parking lot across the street from the church on the Maple Ave. side where they are supervised by faculty.
Our Facebook page is starting to have pictures from the day pouring in. Go over to the link on the left and check them out! If you haven’t already, make sure to like our page to be up to date with the most current happenings at our school. FACEBOOK PAGE
We also encourage all parents to sign up for the schoolwide REMIND. REMIND allows parents to stay on top of all notifications through text messages sent by our school. It also helps to eliminate the need for paper reminders. We will be able to let you know about school closings, important events, changes to the calendar, days where SMART is is not in session, and any other circumstances that may arise.
Here are 3 different ways to join our Headmaster’s Remind List
When we need to remind you of any school events or updates, a text message will go out to the list of parents signed-up with the messaging system. **This is a one-way text message notification system.** Do not respond to the text. If you need to get in touch with the school, you must still call the office.
The Administration, Faculty and Staff wish all of our students a blessed year!
The first day of school is just 2 short weeks away. Our school maintenance staff, faculty and student workers have done an amazing job preparing the classrooms and the rest of the building so we are ready for our first day on September 7th. Teachers have started to set up their classrooms to welcome our incoming students. Students should be equally ready with either Summer Bridge books or Summer reading completed. School supply lists are available on the Parents Link. We are looking forward to seeing you all on September 7th! (Pre-K and Kindergarten begin full day on Monday, September 12th)
The school Calendar and Handbook is now available to view. Click the link below to see it! Don’t forget to save the date for our first school event – The Back-To-School Mass and BBQ on September 24th! The first day of school is on Wednesday, September 7th and is our only half day of the year. School ends at 12:00.
